Commonly Asked
FAQs
These commonly asked questions and facts about my business may help you in understanding what I'm all about, how I like to run things, and if we are a great fit to work together!
How Does the Engagement Session Work?
If you book my Gold Package you get $150 off of your engagement session! We can travel anywhere in Colorado for these photos (travel fees will apply outside of the Grand Valley area). I am super flexible about outfit changes, different locations, props, puppies, anything you want to include. This is a chance to document your love and get to know your photographer. It also helps so you can see the process of working with me, and to help you start to feel more comfortable in front of the lens!
How Many Images Do We Get?
Unlike a lot of photographers, I do not give a photo limit when delivering your galleries. If it is an engagement, party, or family session I usually deliver a minimum of 30 edited images. My rule of thumb for weddings is to deliver at least 50 edited images per hour of coverage. If it's a beautiful photo that represents a beautiful moment, you can bet I'm going to include it!
ABOUT US
We Aren't Sure About a First Look... Thoughts?
The first time you get to see your significant other on your wedding day will be so special no matter what you do! However, I have a special place in my heart for first look photos. It's a great way to have an intimate moment and get all your wedding jitters out before walking down the aisle. It also provides a lot more time to do couple's photos, bridal party photos or even family photos before the ceremony. That way, no one is rushed and the pictures turn out amazing!
What Is Your Payment Structure?
To officially secure your event date, I require a 50% deposit upon the signing of your contract. This deposit is [by law] nonrefundable, but it is transferrable in the case that we have to change our original plans! After that, the second payment is due in full 1 month prior to your event. I do offer payment plans for the second payment, if that is something that you're interested in.
